This is really good advice. Thanks. I would have never thought of using dryer sheets. I think my tears are more from the flexing of the bottom due to lack of structural support. I wonder if the fiberglass would just break again if it is too rigid. But maybe if it is strong enough it won't flex.

I've got an old Buffalo Canoe, which is I guess the old Blue Hole mold. Anyway, it is cracking on the bottom where the sides turn up. Has anyone got a good fix for this? Can I just fiberglass it?

Rockport is currently running over 11,000 CFS. Most likely you will find it washed out. This is not a good time to go if you are concerned about flipping and swimming.
