I have had limited use of one.
Two trips on the lower Mulberry River.
Paddles well with double blade paddle (kayak paddle)
Turns tight but is not very dry.
It's kinda low sided for standing waves....

Great playboat for smaller paddler.
In good shape, normal river wear.
Skirt goes with it...

There was someone on here who was asking about the seat backs I am making. I searched for the original post but couldn't find it so I will post it here. This is a video of the aftermarket version that I don't personally like as it is not as sturdy as the model that is integrated into the seat frame....

It is possible to patch skid plates,
however, I have had much better results in removing the old and
replacing the entire plate.
Your choice of epoxy should do you well either way....

As nice as it is to get as many miles in as possible, Why push it. If you are early, take some side hikes or spend longer in camp. No one likes to hear 'we gotta hurry, 5 miles to camp before it gets dark.' On day trips, I plan for 3 miles an hour with a small group. Over nighters it's 1.5 to 2 mph....
