I paddled Sec. III in my kayak last spring, very cool run. I started by putting in above Bull Sluice, which is a fun hole and took out at Woodland Falls. I recommend it to everyone.

Thanks Ben, I have moved out here recently south of Hickory in Denver. I am hiking it this weekend, going to check it out first. Hopefully, I will meet up with some locals. Nine inches of snow fell last night and the melt is going to feed this gorge. I will be able to see Linville River at it's full...

Yeah.....NIGHT VISION!!!! Note to LE: Check glass before the paddlers get on the water and not half way down the stream, after word has traveled upstream and they start dumping!!
