I'm selling the finest Ozarks creekboat to ever be made. I'm not just meaning the model, I mean this boat specifically. It is used, but there aren't any holes or cracks and I think it has a lot of life left. Outfitting can use some more duct tape. $300, open to trades, offers, guns, flying squirrels...

Re: Raft Guide Training
mgood is right, you are not making any money. I would not reccomend NOC at all, they charge a lot of money for training, make you come out there on spring break, and then ship you to the river they want. I'd say just try to find a river you want to work on, google that river, and then call the outpo...

Re: Boater friendly towns/jobs
Good responses guys. I need to apply for jobs in West Virginia and some of the areas of Colorado you guys mentioned. Definitely won't be doing Asheville or Canon City. I've lived in one and visited the other enough to know that it's where I want to live. Knoxville is definietely on the list. Jax- Do...

Boater friendly towns/jobs
Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted on here (suprising if you've watched the board for very long). Anyways, I'm graduating college this semester and I'm trying to find a job. Unless it's in Northwest Arkansas I want to relocate to a party of the country that has rain or snow. I've been app...

FS/FT Win Model 70, .243 WSSM
Hey guys, I've got a winchester model 70 chambered in .243 WSSM that I'd like to sell. Thats a really fast bullet, without much drop. This gun was designed to be a tack driver. I've got a box of nineteen shells I'm including, it also has scope mounts, rings, and a scope. I'm asking $600 for it, but ...

Re: New Tree Hazard on Frog Bayou
Anything to add that a pack of beavers would need to know to clear out this hazzard? Tree diameter? width/depth of river at that point? anchor points for Z-drags? best way to get in there? What needed to bring? Just curious. As Marc and I were discussing on the Pink Nile section of the Illinois thi...

[quote="texasannie52"]I will say the one trip I took with him was memorable on the Rio Grande... probably wouldn't do it again with him, but on the other hand was in short supply for paddling buddies when living in Big Bend National Park. [quote] Since I already stirred up one thread today...

Re: Lost: 1 Bright Orange Oldschool Pogie
We ran the upper and the lower last time, it is actually really really fun with water on it. It stops feeling creeky and picks up a big water feel, thats hard to get around here, pretty much right after the bridge. I think the pogie shell was left at the lower takeout. Even though I don't know how I...
