Saturday May 28th, the staff at the Cossatot State Park will provide lunch for everyone who comes to help clean the river and pick up trash in the park.
Please give back to the Cossatot River by helping with this cleanup. We will meet at the Park Center at 8:30AM for assignments.
The Park has made arrangements to feed the volunteers at the Center. They will prepare hamburgers/chips/ice tea. We can plan to eat around noon.
Please, if you are not going east, make plans to come to the Cossatot!
Post here or PM me if you are coming.

Is this still on and if so what do I need to bring?

This is still on! Just bring yourself. The Park is providing trash picking up supplies and is providing lunch.

Re: Cossatot Event May 28th!!
I want to send a special thanks to all who came yesterday and participated in the Cossatot Cleanup. I know that Memorial Day weekend was not an optimum date for most people but we still had nine who came and worked hard to clean access points.
They are:
Karen and Dennis Bucella
Walter and Gayle Felton
Kim and Dee Tucker
Steve Gabbard
Cowper and myself
I also want to add a huge thank you to Stan Speight and his staff at Cossatot State Park and Natural Area. They have and continue to do tremendous work caring for and protecting the river. The park is absolutely beautiful, from the camping areas and nature trails to the new trail along the river corridor. All this makes for a wonderful setting, featuring that natural jewel that is the Cossatot River.
And also, “Thanks for lunch!”
