Fishing Kayak Wilderness Systems Ride 135

Kayak is 4 years old, used about a dozen times. I have a shallow running skiff and never really got into kayak fishing. Very wide, stable platform, fish while standing or sitting. Comes with Bending Branches Angler Classic paddle, two-tier fishing crate with 4 rod holders, 8 scupper plugs, 2 rod hol...

Re: Carry Water for multi-day trip on Buffalo?

Thanks for pointing me towards the Sawyer filters. While doing my research, I found that they get very good reviews and are relatively inexpensive.

Carry Water for multi-day trip on Buffalo?

Planning on doing a longer trip down the Buffalo River this year. Do I have to carry all my drinking water or is a new water filter enough to keep me healthy?

Thanks -

Did not go on 2/26. Nobody volunteered to fight the wind and cold with me, stayed inside.

Paddle trip on Buffalo on Sun 2/26

After some rain earlier this week there should be enough water to go on nice wintery paddle trip on the Buffalo. Hard to tell where enough water will be on Sunday, Ponca gauge is at 2.58 and falling, Pruitt at 4.67 and falling and St. Joe at 5.61 and still rising. Maybe Woolum to Baker Ford? You can...

New Member Seeking River Information

Hello NWA paddlers, this is AnyMan. I recently join the ACC, NWA chapter; planning to start paddling in NWA using my ’82 Blue Hole, OCA and my camp between Huntsville and Kingston as a base. My question today, where can I go canoeing over Labor Day, we are meeting with friends from Missouri and want...

Re: Very clean, very cool Blue Hole Sunburst II for trade

I have a 1992 Blue Hole, OCA, yellow, believe that it is 15'2" long. I removed the original seats and installed curved ash/cane seats. Just cleaned the boat up and decided that it was time to install skid plates. Boat has scratches but is in overall good shape. Planning on buying a slightly lar...
