Re: Upper Little Missouri (Albert Pike to Hwy 84

American Whitewater lists that section as being class II-III+(IV) which means it is mostly class two to three plus with a class four rapid in there somewhere. I wouldn't recommend doing class 3+ or 4 in a sit on top unless it's one you can roll and you've got a reliable swift water roll since swims ...

Re: Alum Fork from Lake Winona

Sorry, I don't know about the parking. When we went to walk in someone had gotten permission for us to use a private access point at 34.773083, -92.876697 It looked like some sort of historic site that might get rented out for events but I'm not able to find any info about the place online now.

Re: Alum Fork from Lake Winona

You're right about it being high water. I actually walked down to the site of the accident and was told the water would have been 4 or 5 feet over my head where I was standing in the trees. If i remember right, the area where it happened looked like water would be running through the trees at pretty...

Re: Alum Fork from Lake Winona

Here's a thread about it from 2011 viewtopic.php?t=20247
The last time I heard about anyone running it was 2017 when one member of the group got pinned on a tree and drowned, unfortunately.

Re: Mohawk Probe 11 - SOLD

I just added plugin to the forum to officially mark things as sold and lock the topic, I personally think these threads shouldn't be deleted after being sold so that people have an idea what items are worth, however they tend to attract spam accounts so locking them is a good idea. You can find the ...

Probable service outage

The message board is likely to be inaccessible for several hours this week or next as we get our new main website set up. I don't have a definite time yet as we're still working out some issues with our new membership service provider to keep the forum up and running at its current address after the...

Re: Any paddling trips in central arkansas coming up?

If you're on Facebook our Facebook group is a better place to plan trips on short notice. The forum tends to be quite a bit slower paced these days.
